In an effort to spread the love of books, throughout the year our staff and volunteers place a handful of books in random public locations around the country—hospitals, bus stops, restaurants, train stations, etc.
You may be stuck in a location with nothing to read or do and stumble across our stack of books. Take one, finish it from cover to cover, then place it in another public location for someone else to enjoy.
Inside each book of our Wandering Library you will find this sticker:
Please take it home, read it, … savor it. Then leave it in a safe place for someone else to pick it up and and appreciate it too.
