June 20, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. – Netflix mini-series Inventing Anna
We will be discussing the Netflix original mini-series, Inventing Anna, which tells the wild true story of Anna Sorokin, who posed as a wealthy German heiress while living in New York City. She charmed and scammed wealthy socialites as well as banks and hotels with no remorse. Anna’s case is told through a reporter investigating the legendary heiress who stole the hearts and money of New York’s elite. This hit series stars Julia Garner, Anna Chumsky, Laverne Cox, and Anthony Edwards. This show has nine episodes in a single season, and we hope you’ll join us for what is sure to be an interesting discussion. Please note this is a change from our previously scheduled meeting on June 13.
